Finger Snapping Controls
It is a good idea to remind your students, during the pre-conditioning sessions, to use their "Finger-snapping controls." It is easy to overlook. You can also remind them when they are working cases. Here is where you will find it:
In the Projection into Metals conditioning, you instruct them to project into the piece of stainless steel. The in the next paragraph you instruct them that "Whenever you need to increase the illumination or amount or size of anything, just snap the fingers of your right hand slightly, and expect the change to take place...." And to decrease, snap the fingers of the left hand slightly.
Then when you get to the piece of copper we remind them: "Remember to use your finger-snapping controls to increase and decrease as necessary."
You can remind them about this whenever you happen to think of it during the preconditioning... when preconditioning the Projection Into Leaves... and in Human Anatomy.
For instance, when doing the blood tests, you can snap the fingers of your right hand to increase the indication of any abnormalities.
That is one of the things that you can talk after they have worked some cases, to remind them that they can intensify their experience by snapping the fingers of their right hand, and decrease the experience by snapping the fingers of their left hand.
Personally, I have also found this useful when I begin to feel some emotions... depressed, fearful, etc. I just snap the fingers of my left hand and expect the feeling to become less and less and less until it is gone. It works great!
This is an especially valuable tool for case working.
The psychic might put the subject's head on to help determine what the subject is thinking, how the subject is feeling. If the subject is depressed, for instance, the psychic might suddenly get a strong feeling of depression. They might think that they are depressed, when it is actually the case subject who is depressed. So they can snap their fingers... take the head off... take a few deep breaths and relax... and then they will be able to help the subject in whatever way is appropriate.
The psychic must remain in control in order to be able to help the subject. If the psychic becomes too upset, then it could be very difficult for them to help the subject, and nobody benefits. The psychic needs to use all of the tools to relax, and to remain comfortable, to keep a clear head, to be able to think clearly, to remain focused on the task... and help the subject.
It is similar to when a flight attendant reminds you that in case of emergency, put on your own oxygen mask first and then help other people, because if you pass out from lack of oxygen you cannot help anybody else.
