Lecture into the conditioning cycles

Jose Silva has made it very easy for us to train psychics:

First, guide them to find their level and activate their mind while remaining at the alpha level

Then guide them to establish subjective points of reference.

Help them understand how ESP works and how they can use it

Get them started by working a "test sample" of 10 health cases, as well as psychometry cases.

The pages in this section of the web site will prepare you to do all of those things.

In addition, the rest of the web site will provide you with the in-depth information, insight, and understanding that will give you the confidence you desire to have when teaching people how to use the System.

Jose Silva used to start off at Instructor Training by telling all of the new Instructor Candidates: "You are part of us now. This is your research, these are your experiences. When you tell people about the research, you say, 'Our research...' 'We learned....' Everything that we have done now belongs to you, so do not say, 'Mr. Silva's research....' You say, 'Our research...'."

Lecture into the conditioning cycles

Ideally, there are 4 steps involved with each conditioning cycle:

  1. Lecture (explanation)
  2. Pre-conditioning
  3. Intermission
  4. Conditioning

We'll work with both lectures and pre-conditionings here.

The guideline is: Always lecture into the conditioning cycles.

In other words, everything in your lecture should relate to the conditioning cycle that you do next.

If there is anything you are not sure of, please be sure to let us know. This information is so important and so valuable to people that we want to be sure that we do everything we can to help you get the word out and help people learn to use the System.

The Lecture lets the students know WHY they are going to do the conditioning cycle, why it is important. If they don't know why they are doing it, then they won't be very enthusiastic... might even be a bit resistant.

It is good to start with an "attention getter," give them a good "benefit statement" so they will want to learn the material that you are about to cover. For instance:

"This first conditioning cycle (the Centering Exercise) will help you find the alpha level - at the center of the normal brain frequency spectrum - so that you can learn to think with the creative and intuitive right brain hemisphere, and can also learn how to use the subconscious consciously. When you use the subconscious consciously, then it is no longer sub - or beneath - consciousness, it becomes an inner conscious level."

Then tell them the benefits of doing that: There is more information available to us at alpha than at beta, we can learn to detect information intuitively with the right brain hemisphere, we can program to correct problems, etc.

Full Disclosure

The Pre-conditioning lets them know EXACTLY what is in the conditioning cycle. You don't want to surprise them... you want them to relax physically and mentally so that they can enter the alpha level - if you surprise them, they won't be relaxed. If they are wondering why you said something, they won't be relaxed. If they are analyzing what's in the conditioning cycle, they won't be relaxed and using the right brain hemisphere. If they have questions they want answered, they won't be relaxed.

Full disclosure is the rule - always let them know what we are doing and why, and answer any questions they have.

In future conditioning cycles, you do not need to read every statement to them; once is enough. Once they are familiar with the statements, you can just advise them that the statements will be included, and then read any new statements and information to them.

It is also best to answer all questions before doing the conditioning cycle. In the conditioning cycle, you are going to a deeper level and "planting seeds." You do not want to dig those seeds right up by discussing the information immediately you planet them.

So elicit questions before the conditioning cycle, then after the conditioning cycle move on to the next topic. Of course if someone is concerned about something, you will have to take care of it, even if it means talking about the information and statements in the conditioning you just completed. Remember: Rule Number 1 is for them to relax.

So answer any questions that you have to answer, and then move on to the next topic. It is find to come back and discuss things the next day, after they have gone through at least one sleep and dream cycle.

A short Break is always nice if you can manage it, to give them time to get up, get the blood circulating... and maybe a question will occur to somebody, so you can answer it and get it out of the way before the conditioning cycle.

Then read the conditioning cycle exactly the way it is written, and do it with them. When you get the manual, study the conditioning cycles - every word, every instruction - and see if you can come up with any questions about why we say what we say and do what we do. The better you understand it, and the more confidence you have it in, the better. Then when reading it to the students, whatever you tell them to do... you do it too. Defocus your vision, relax, and do it along with them.

After you have heard how other people cover each point, then you decided the best way that you can make the same point. You do not have to imitate anyone else.

Be yourself, and speak from the heart

As somebody once said: When you know, it communicates. So use the System yourself, practice your lectures at your level, record yourself, and continue to improve.

Listening to recordings of your presentations is one of the best ways to improve. It might not be much fun, but it sure is effective.

To hear complete class recordings, including all of the lectures and conditioning cycles, listen to the Silva UltraMind ESP System Complete Home Seminar. We actually made those recordings for Instructor Training rather than to sell to the public, and that is why they are as long as they are: To give you plenty of resource material to work with.
